Pelham Civic Association Stands United Against Bigotry and Exclusion

We at the Pelham Civic Association are anguished over the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and many other victims of injustice and racism in the United States. We recognize that their horrific deaths are just the latest manifestations of the racism and inequality prevalent in our society. We are particularly saddened to hear our Black neighbors sharing their own stories of bias and discrimination right here in Pelham.

The Pelham Civic Association has been serving the Pelham community for more than 80 years. We welcome, serve, and support people of all races, colors, creeds, and national origins. But during this difficult time, we believe we can, and must, do more.  We are committed to actively opposing racism and bigotry in all its forms and making sure that no one in Pelham is excluded.

The Civics are proud to join with many of our Pelham friends and neighbors to stand united against bigotry. The Pelham Civic Association promises to work toward meaningful, long-lasting positive change in our community.
